Great design is hard to come by, and once again Kia has set
the bar high. The redesigned 2013 Kia Forte has made its debut on the web and
has drivers swooning. The Forte didn’t just aim for looks, though, as it has a
completely new bodyshell structure and LED lights to boot. The bodyshell
features a chrome finished beltline and a modern rear lights. The futuristic
styling of the redesigned Kia Forte has made it longer, lower, and slightly
wider than past Forte designs. What’s under the hood has been revamped, too; the
engine has been equipped to handle “class-leading fuel economy”. The Forte is
in a class with the Mitsubishi Lancer and Suzuki SX4, and boasts better fuel economy than both.
Another exciting element to the Forte redesign is the
possibility of the car being built in the United States. It is rumored that the
sleek new redesigned compact would be built at a plant in Montgomery, Alabama.
If the Forte were made in the USA, it would be the third Kia model made here –
alongside the Sorento and Optima, which are built in Georgia.
Many car enthusiasts are excited about the possibility of
more cars being built in the states. This got me to thinking how the Kia Soul
hamsters feel about this news. We all know the hamsters love a party and rest
assured they’d have a great the furriest shindig you’ve ever seen to celebrate
another Kia model being made in the USA. We can be sure the hamsters would have
a dance mix including Miley Cyrus’ ubiquitous hit “Party in the USA” and maybe
throw in some Bruce Springsteen for good measure. But, the hamsters would
probably invite a few friends, right? I can’t help but think the hamsters would
have some equally well-dressed mouse friends. The Kia Forte is sleek and stylish
and I imagine the mice driving them would be dressed in their finest party
attire – little black dresses, crisp dress shirts and creased pants.
What kind of creature could you see driving the new
redesigned Kia Forte? Would the Kia Soul hamsters have some competition in the
race to see who is cuter?
